Hotel "Volga" is one of the central and most impressive buildings in Engels city. Its architectural design combined with modern technology to a large extent determine the shape of the city, and make it modern. The hotel complex is located in the central part of the city on Lenin's square, 18.
History of the hotel
Hotel Volga is in the tourist market for more than half a century. It's story begins in 1938, when the hotel was called the "Central". During the Great Patriotic War, the building housed offices of hospitals. In Sept. 10, 1954 by decision of the executive committee of Engels hotel "Central" was renamed to the hotel "Volga". Nowadays the hotel consists of a three-storey complex with a magnificent interior atmosphere in combination of modern and classic design. For the period of operation the external and the internal views of the hotel were repeatedly reconstructed and refurbished.At present the hotel has 23 rooms, and plans to launch 11 more luxury rooms. Authors of the project
The authors of the priject are planning firm "Nemprogor" and talented architect A. Lubomudrov. The platform for the construction of the hotel was approved at a meeting of the presidium of Engels city council workers and peasants, November 25, 1936 The building was included three and a half floors of 38 rooms for 61 people.

The hotel "Volga" created all the best for leisure and business meetings, there is a cozy restaurant «Green House” located in the hotel.
